"How much does it cost to get something written?"

Every job is different and it is not possible for any respectable writer to issue an all-encompassing price that covers all types of writing on any subject under any conditions.

For example the following affect the price:

  • Number of words
  • Subject matter
  • Time constraints
  • Level of client's contribution
  • Clarity of brief
  • Amount of research required
  • Level of responsibility attached
  • Accreditation
  • Structure
  • Formatting
  • Continuity of work
  • Promptness of payment

... etc

However, here are some guide fees that Always The Write Decision charges.

Type of work Fee range
Blogging, general writing, novels, novellas and articles $100 per 1,000 words
CV's and Resumes $40 - $80 per page
Complex technical or legal pieces $150+ per 1,000 words
Research, advice, training $25 - $50 per hour depending upon complexity
Illustrating, photography work $30 per hour
Minimum fee per piece of work $25
